More than $5,000 each year from the Friends of Wolf Lake is used to support the Visitor Center plus money for one-time projects. The funding from the Friends of Wolf Lake makes it possible for the Visitor Center to provide high caliber programs at no cost to visitors.

Volunteers are the reason that we are able to provide thousands of visitors with free, high quality outdoor programs and experiences.

flagship programs

The Hook, Line, and Sinker (HLS) and Arrow Away programs at Wolf Lake are two important programs supported by the Friends of Wolf Lake. They have introduced more than 8,000 kids to fishing and hundreds of kids and adults to archery.
