volunteer opportunities

Are you an avid angler and want to help a new generation learn to love fishing too? Our Hook, Line, and Sinker (HLS) program gives kids from ages 3-16, the opportunity to fish in a stocked pond and may be the perfect fit for you. We provide the bait and tackle, and volunteers assist participants as needed. Volunteers help kids bait hooks, cast, and release fish back into the pond. In addition to fishing, we also do all the maintenance on the fishing equipment - volunteers play a huge role in helping to make sure that equipment is in good shape so each young angler can have a positive experience.

I volunteer at Wolf Lake because of a strong kinship to nature and all of its wildlife, in the hope that others will follow, and help preserve this delicate ecosystem for generations to come.
