why friends of wolf lake

The Friends of Wolf Lake started in 2010 as a group of people who were regular visitors to the hatchery and visitor center and saw the need for support that could help improve the programs and experiences for other visitors - turning PASSION into ACTION. Similar to other Friend’s groups throughout the State at State Parks and other DNR facilities, Friends of Wolf Lake provides monies and volunteer hours to enhance the opportunities and experiences for visitors.
